We’re so lucky that Martina was an MPH employee beginning in 2016, and Jordan became a beloved regular the following year upon moving to Cramerton. Both Gaston County natives, the two met here at our bar while Martina was working our annual Halloween party. Her Rosie the Riveter costume captured Jordan’s attention and the rest is a lovely part of Mayworth’s history.

Martina is a busy, hard-working mom to their 4 beautiful, energetic children, Johnny, Owen, Maisie, and Everett, while Jordan works as a supervisor with the ABF Freight company in Belmont.

The two share a love of sunny, warm days accompanied by cold drinks, good company, and classic rock or good ole 90’s music, including ELO and Ronnie Milsap. When it is time for a vacay they enjoy spending time in the North Carolina mountains, like Asheville, Boone, and Hendersonville.

The anticipation is OVER :)

Mayworth’s next shout out goes too…..

Martina can easily be described as a motivated, fun-loving, and spontaneous woman that pairs perfectly with Jordan’s outgoing, humorous, and passionate personality.

They  can be seen here at Mayworth’s during their daily family walks or couple’s nights out when they can partake in some delicious food and refreshing drinks. Jordan’s favorites are our Sweet Garlic Teriyaki chicken wings paired with a Sugarcreek Big O draft beer or neat shot of whiskey, while Martina enjoys our Turkey Club sandwich with a cold white wine or one of the MPH signature vodka cocktails.

To know them is to love them, and we’re so thankful to be a part of their history, as much as they’re part of ours here at Mayworth’s Public House.

"Service, in short, is not what you do, but who you are. It's a way of living that you need to bring to everything you do if you're to bring it to your customer interactions."
