Honoring Cramerton’s Roots
Cramerton was originally named Mayesworth in 1906, after John H. Mayes. Mayes was one of the founders of the the Mayes Manufacturing Company, a cotton mill built on the banks of the Catawba River. In 1915, the town name changed to Mayworth. The town would later be purchased by Stuart Warren Cramer and would officially become Cramerton in 1922, later becoming an incorporated town in 1967. In naming our restaurant and pub Mayworth, we pay homage to Cramerton's original founding father.
Local Partners, Better Food🍞
We believe that good food starts with good relationships. That’s why we partner with Dukes Bakery in Charlotte for our soft, fresh brioche buns. Our famous beer burger is made with 100% organic, grass-fed beef from Brasstown Beef, a trusted local farm in North Carolina. Supporting local isn’t just good business—it makes every bite better.
Local Flavors, Craft Pours🍺
Our bar is just as inviting as our kitchen. We offer a full cocktail menu, popular wines, and a rotating list of local and craft beers from Charlotte and beyond. Whether you're stopping in for a drink after work or pairing a pint with your burger, we’ve got something for every taste.
Your Spot for Good Times🤝
We built Mayworth’s to be a place where everyone feels welcome. Located at 115 Center St in downtown Cramerton, we serve happy hour favorites and comfort food in a relaxed, upscale pub setting. Come by for a bite, a drink, or just to catch up. We’d love to have you.
